Millennium Hotel, St. Louis, Missouri, July 22 - 26, 2007

The 2007 Traffic Records Forum was a success, bringing together 423 professionals involved in collecting, managing and using traffic records systems to help improve highway safety.  Through 40 sessions with over 130 speakers, attendees were able to network with peers from other states, share in their knowledge from a variety of agencies, and learn about new technologies and resources available to them.  Follow the navigation on the left to view the presentation materials from the Forum program.

Attendees met with more than 20 vendor/exhibitors to discuss current and future products.  Forum sponsors included Carfax (http://www.carfax.com/), and Pd’ Programming (http://www.pdmagic.com/).

Keynote speakers included the Director of Highway Safety for the State of Missouri, the Chief of the Colorado State Patrol, the Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, and the President of the National Safety Council.

A day was set aside at the conclusion of the Forum to conduct a meeting to update and revise the Model Minimum Uniform Crash Criteria (MMUCC) Guideline.  Participants numbered 107 highway safety, law enforcement, public health, and others who had the opportunity to review and provide input on the 3rd Edition of the MMUCC Guideline, scheduled for release in 2008.
